Reviewing the two models do you think that the straightforward approach of the Lewin model or the sophistication of the McKinsey model is a better approach to embracing change? When it comes to change do you think it is better to quickly recognize the change and move forward, or do you think it better to understand the change with a step-by-step approach? What if in the analysis to quickly recognize change you fail to consider variables that would change your decision or process. The benefits of the Lewin model is that it is proven and tested over time and therefore will most likely provide a proven result, but the McKinsey model being newer may allow to view things differently and in a different perspective.
