Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison
House Made of Dawn by N. Scott Momaday
For: English literature course
Near the very end of each of these novels there is a main episode devoted to hunting - in Toni Morrison's novel, Milkman hunts for a bobcat near Virginia, Shalimar, while N. Scott Momaday's Francisco recalls a time in his life when he went out to hunt for a bear. Contrast and compare these two episodes while explaining how each of them is significant in relation to the overall context (the "bit picture") in the novel where it occurs.
Just points/notes/ a good essay outline will be great.
