Some think that the definition of a disability according to ADA has been somewhat fuzzy (e.g., substantially limits one of the major life activities). In fact, many situations were analyzed in a case-by-case basis. Recently, ADA has been amended to expand the definition of disability - the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA). Please see the notes for further clarification as the amendments have expanded the definition of disability. Further, two Supreme Court cases were overturned. What is your opinion regarding the ADA and the new amendments to ADA or ADAAA? Do you think they have helped clarify some of the problems of the original law?
