The problem is that the management has a "we have always done it this way" attitude. However, the student has learned from their studies that there are some great opportunities for improvement in their area. Suggestions seem to be ignored. They listen, but don't seem very interested in researching or implementing any of the innovative ideas. They are looking for your experience, suggestions, and ideas on what this student might do to get the attention and support of the management.
