Signal conditioning amplifier
The primary function of the signal conditioning amplifier is to match the output signal range of the transducer to the input signal range of the analog digital converter. Thus its gain should be matched to the application. The gain should be stable and known precisely since any gain error will affect the accuracy of the measurement.
The signal conditioning ampli?er can be also used to limit the signal bandwidth or to filter some frequencies out to reduce the noise and interference, to convert the transducer impedance, and to match it to that of the transmission line.
