By doing some simple calculations and plotting several graphs, one can verify some of the statements made about equlibrium.
A. show that the Gibbs energies per unit mass of steam and liquid water in equilibrium at 300 C are equal
B. plot V (molar basis) versus T at P=2.5 MPa for the temperature range of 150-400 C, and show that V (molar basis) is discontinuous. Excel may be used
C. Establish that via direct calculation the G(L)=G(V) *V mean molar basis, for steam at P=2.4MPa and T=224C
All Calulations should be done using the steam tables
