Class, does society as well as business need to evaluate what a normal retirement age is? People are not only living longer, but also enjoying a more active and healthy life style much later into life. Yes, I "retired" at age 67 but today at age 73 I maintain a regular teaching load for DeVry Online and find that the continuing intellectual stimulation of law, teaching and interacting with interesting students provides both a focus and stimulant in my life.
Should the normal retirement age for retirement and/or social security benefits be raised? If so, how high?
