Essay Problem
Write, and proofread a 5-paragraph essay with a title on one of the three topics below. Read the topics carefully to make sure you know what they are asking you to do.
Argue one of the following questions.
• Should testing be done on animals?
• Should teachers in public schools be armed with guns?
Note: If your position is that they do, under what circumstances? Should any limitations exist? Be sure to acknowledge opposing views.
• At the beginning of the 14th century, it was a sin to believe that witches could fly. By the end of the century, it was a sin to believe witches couldn't fly. Little over a century ago, slavery was popular in the American South. A hundred years from now, how will people look back at 2020 with amazement that we were so backward in our thinking? Explain.
