Problem: While mass shootings tend to dominate the headlines and those who perpetrate them are often described as evil, gun deaths that are the result of homicides, accidents, and suicides typically draw less attention but account for the majority of firearm related deaths. In the past two-years calls by unregulated militias and other groups are also causing concern as these groups appear to desire and promote a second civil war by encouraging like minded individuals to stockpile arms and ammunition.
