Should government step in limit-curtail rights of individual

Problem: The Declaration of Independence reads in part, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal with certain unalienable rights, and among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."  In the year 2023, do we still enjoy the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that our Founders wrote about?  Or, rather, are these rights limited based on if the government agrees with our own values and beliefs on certain issues?  For example, if you oppose the "woke" policies of the Biden Administration, do you still enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?  Also, if rights are not limited today, and in your opinion, should the government step in to limit or curtail the rights of individuals that take certain issues on political issues?  In short, do we still enjoy rights and liberties today?  Explain.
