The proposal topic is how to schedule an online appointment with an advisor at Tarrant County College. Academic advisors, who advise and counsel students to achieve their education, are the audience for this proposal. This proposal is useful for first-time college students and students who have not ever heard about scheduling an online appointment. During each semester, many students need to contact advisors for academic advice. In order to prevent long waits, students should schedule an appointment with an advisor online. Students can choose an appointment time to fit with their schedule, an advisor that the student wants to discuss their academic help, and students can choose to meet with an advisor in person, virtual, or by phone via online appointment. I choose this topic because of its convenience for both advisors and students. Online appointments can save time for both advisors and students, remind the appointment of the student in order to reduce no-shows, and allow better utilization of employee time.
