A media plan is developed to help have a business have a more successful advertising plan and strategy. The media plan involves selecting media to be used to advertise or communicate with the target audience. It is important to develop a sound plan to manage and control this large company investment. The goal is to have a concrete diagram or sketch of what the company is willing to do, what it will do, and how it will do it.
For this assignment, your focus should be on the media used in an Internet environment. Complete the following to develop a media plan and buying strategy:
1. Select a business that primarily operates on the Internet.
2. Describe the media that you would use for this business.
3. Identify your target audience.
4. Develop goals and strategies.
