Discussion Topic: -Select a brief excerpt from the Missouri State Constitution of interest to you and explain, in your opinion, why it is significant or how history or civic opinion/action may have influenced its presence in the document. After skimming through the copy of the Missouri Constitution at either of the two links listed in the readings assignment for this week, note the organization of the document (Preamble, Articles, etc.) and the priorities expressed by the order of the constitutional articles. Note also, for example, that the Executive Branch is charged with enforcing the laws in the state.
