Assignment Instructions:
Review the Research Paper assignment instructions, select your topic, seek out reliable resources related to your topic and evaluate them.
Download the MLA Annotated Bibliography template and enter you annotated bibliographies. Check for correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
A minimum of 10 entries is required.
This means you will review 10 separate sources related to your research paper topic.
Each entry must be related to your Research Paper topic.
Your annotated bibliographies should be arranged alphabetically.
Your sources should be both primary and secondary.
Primary resources - an artifact, a document, diary, manuscript, autobiography, a recording, or any other source of information that was created at the time under study.
Secondary resources - that was created later by someone who did not experience first-hand or participate in the events or conditions you're researching. For the purposes of a historical research project, secondary sources are generally scholarly books and articles.
Do not include book reviews.
Do not use encyclopedias of any kind (examples, but not limited to: Wikipedia.com, encyclopedia.com, Britannica.com), points will be deducted.
Do not use History.com, points will be deducted.
Do not use a resource below college level. For example, Ducksters.com is an educational site for children.
Do not use websites like Study.com, KhanAcademy.com, etc.
