sarcodine protozoans are amoebas and there are

Sarcodine protozoans are amoebas, and there are two types of them: shelled and naked. As you examine the prepared slides you should be able to see water expulsion vesicle, nucleus, food vacuoles, and pseudopods. In a wet mount some of these organelles would be visible, however with this preparation watch the pseudopods move. At the tip is clear zone, the hyaline cap that fluid endoplasm pushes against before flowing to the edge of the pseudopod and turning into ectoplasm. Look at the other end of amoeba and you'll see the reverse, ectoplasm turning back to endoplasm then flowing into the center of advancing pseudopod.
