Many HR professionals started to think of safety and wellness in the workplace before the Covid-19 pandemic, but then the world and business changed. Now, many people are trying to return to normal, if you can call it normal at this point, but they are trying. Therefore, here is a scenario to consider for your new workplace as the new HR Director. You have been working for this 2000 employee workforce in a remote location only for the past year, and now your CEO and the Board of Directors want to ease back the workforce. They want you to present a quick plan to help bring back the employees, but in phases to be staggered out from a part-time, rotating basis starting 1-2 days a week for each employee and then bring everyone back full-time with no more 20-30% of the workers in the first month - but everyone should be back completely in 4 months. Wow, you are thinking, right? So, how would you start your plan here? This is a great brainstorming activity for all of us.
