Obtain a small grinding wheel or a piece of a large wheel.
(a) Using a magnifier or a microscope, observe its surfaces and compare them with Fig. 26.9.
(b) Rub the abrasive wheel by pressing it hard against a variety of flat metallic and nonmetallic materials. Describe your observations regarding the surfaces produced.
