Problem:
A nursing informatics role that I find interesting and be beneficial to my organization is a nursing informatics specialist. Since this uses nursing and IT skills to provide care, could be very beneficial when troubleshooting our electronic health records (ANA, 2023). This is something that does happen and there is no direct way to go about finding a solution. This would also be nice for the nursing informatics specialist to round on units and get feedback with the electronic medical records we use, as when updates occur things can change for the better or worse. Something unique that I plan to integrate into practice is my final project regarding pre-dispensing medication cabinets. I use one daily multiple times throughout the day, so to learn a lot more information I feel is helpful for my day to day.
