While looking into liability and how government organizations responsibilities for handling risk, how much does politics play into this? Like it or not, politics will play some role in public safety and emergency management. This can be by legislation, funding, etc., but politics will have some hand in it no matter if it is the public or private sectors. Research on the web and find an article or web site where politics impacted public safety or emergency management in some form or fashion and then discuss how politics played a role. Feel free to cast a broad net when searching since public safety encompasses many different fields.
