Introduction:
Scientifically referred to as, Canis Lupus Rufus, the Red Wolf belongs to the species known as Canis, which is the direct basis of origin for all canine animals. The Red Wolf is a much smaller species compared to that of its distantly related cousin, the Grey Wolf. However, the Red Wolf still adheres to the overall basic appearance, natural habitat and social stipulations consistent throughout the wolf's traditional hierarchy. Due to overhunting, the Red Wolf is currently critically endangered and primarily inhabits conservations compounds with an extremely rare, wild, natural population.
