The focus for project is on designing jobs so that they more fully elicit intrinsic motivation.
The reading introduces a Job Characteristics Model that includes five important job characteristics that are linked to intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction. Watch video titled "Characteristic of Job Design" in which I describe my job as a manager. As you watch the video, listen for examples of the five job characteristics (you may have to watch the video a couple of times to catch them all).
Complete the following Job Characteristics Matrix with examples of each of the job characteristics from the video. Even though this is a matrix, make sure that your examples are detailed and thorough.
