Introduction:
For your first major assignment, you will reflect on your childhood, your roots, and write an "I am from" poem in the style of George Ella Lyon.

Length: 4 stanzas of 4 or 5 lines each, for a total of 18-20 lines.

Submission: "I am from" Poem dropbox in Blackboard. Dropbox will be open one week before deadline. See the "I am from" Poem dropbox in Blackboard for submission instructions. If you are unfamiliar with dropbox submission, submit early enough to contact me with any questions.
Late work: Work will not be accepted late.
