My public problem is climate change. (Just 1 paragraph about the summary of the problem - introduction (Tell people why they should care.)then there are 2 parts:
• Part 1 the review of the major policiesdeveloped at the federal, state, and local level that address the problem, such as which policy is worked or not worked; Data is success or failure, etc.
• Part 2 is to provide a detailed proposal for a solution. (in multiple perspectives, such as Impact on food supply? World species? Connections with the pandemic? Extreme events? And how to change the future and make it work) Think of this exercise as writing a proposal to get the funds to work on the problem you have identified.
The format for the policy review must be: 5 to 7 pages paper, double spaced, standard font (Arial, Times New Roman)-with appropriate research and sources to back up your findings and conclusions.Remember to provide appropriate citations and you must use APA style.
There should be a minimum of 12-15 sources that include the texts from class, academic journals, and major news sources as well as any other additional works that supports your analysis. Web sites such as Wikipedia are not considered credible sources to be cited, but are good beginning information sites. I would use them to start my research, but not cite them.
The Web site Purdue OWL (Online Writing Lab) is an excellent source for information. You should review the content found here and make sure that your written work is grammatically correct, and your citations have the correct style.
A 2 min presentation:
• PowerPoint contains review the polices and your proposal.
• Draft of the presentation.
