Your final paper for this course will be based on your learning from all five weeks and will be a four- to six- page paper. Your paper must contain the following:
- A summary of the interview conducted in Week Three with an analysis of information collected and how it impacted your understanding of the professional field of early childhood education. Do not include the transcript of your interview; rather explain if this interview will help you move forward in this profession.
- A description of at least one key issue or trend in early childhood programs and how it impacts the education of young children.
- A brief description of the instructional approach/model that best matches your personal educational philosophy and how you believe that approach contributes to quality programming for young children.
- Your current philosophy of education. Review the early childhood education philosophers listed in Chapter 6, choose one that most aligns with your personal philosophy of early childhood education. Give a brief summary of this philosophy and describe at least three teaching strategies you can use in the classroom to illustrate this theory.
- Your plans, at this point, for your future in early childhood education.
