Read Ibarra's HBR article on the Authenticity Paradox, and pay a special focus on how leadership is culturally relevant. In other words, different cultures view positive leadership attributes differently. This can be challenging for people living in a new cultural context and striving to be an authentic leader. After reviewing the subsection by Meyers, please visit the GLOBE website and select a country of interest. Perhaps a country that you are intending to visit or a country where you suspect you might conduct business at some point in the future.
