DQ1 - Imagine that you are going to start a franchise. Develop five questions you would want to ask an existing franchisee in your city. Describe how each question relates to an issue of feasibility analysis and due diligence.
DQ2 - This activity assists you in identifying the steps involved in purchasing a franchise. Review the seven steps of purchasing a franchise of Entrepreneurship: Successfully Launching New Ventures. Select a franchise with which you are familiar. Discuss how you would go about three of the seven steps in purchasing that franchise and why each of these steps would be important.
DQ3 - So where do you find people to help you run your new franchise?
Craigs List? Monster.com? The Internet?
You find them working at places that compliment your new business. In short, you steal recruit them. Sounds gruff, I know but this is where you will find the experience that you are looking for. You may have to pay a little more, but it will be well worth it. Why hire someone that is unemployed? The mere fact that your candidate is employed should say something.
