Essay:
Write a summary-response essay for Friedman's(2011) article "The Earth Is Full" By THOMAS L. FRIEDMAN .The article,together with relevant readings useful for your response, is available on CMS.
Your summary-response essay should have two coherent parts:
Part 1:
This part should demonstrate an understanding of the main idea of the text, different arguments put forwards, purpose, toneand attitude of the author. The intended audience should also be referred to (Refer to Skills Workbooks 1A & 1B).
This part of your essay should be concise, up to 200 words maximum.
Part 2:
In this part you are required to express a position towards the content of the article summarised. Your position (whether you agree, disagree or agree up to a point) should be supported by literature. You may refer to previous readings through the course or to the 2 articles suggested and posted on CMS.
