Assignment task:
We don't often get to discuss theories that aren't purely scientific. A&P usually either "is or it isn't." Talking about the brain gives us a little more leeway to think about personal feelings and reactions rather than cold, hard facts. This chapter, we learned all about which areas of the brain are responsible for a variety of emotions and reactions, but we did not specifically discuss intelligence, which is where it stems from.
Please review this link Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. In your first post, answer the following questions:
1. Choose an intelligence subgroup and explain where in our society, i.e. careers, hobbies, you would expect to find people dominant in that type of intelligence.
2. Is there a type of intelligence you would consider more or less valuable than others?
3. Which form of intelligence do you think is most valued in our society? Least valued
