Let's get another conversation going. This is a classic privacy vs. safety issue. Where should we draw the line? If a defendant did not submit DNA, should they still be subject to their relatives decision to do so?
There was a good result here, but at what point do you think people should start to get concerned about their personal privacy?
What if insurance companies could access this to see if you have any health issues? Arguably a private insurer accessing this information is less invasive than the state.
