The PBS Documentary "The Human Face of Big Data" will give you lots of ideas of where to search for companies, platforms, or consulting firms that specialize in Big Data, understanding of this documentary should be evident from your post. We have pretty much run the gamut of software/platform/consulting options that can help companies with their VOC activities. Other than a shout out to salesforce.com (check them out--plus the founder is interesting and innovative), we've covered the 'traditional list" in DB's and course materials this semester.
