Step 1. Using Charts to Display Data from a Database
- Review at least one web site and one video, that describes the Chart control in depth, or provides a tutorial. Provide citations to both references. Provide a critique for both the video and the article.
- Provide an overview of how you would use two of the chart features that you learned about in the tutorial.
- Discuss any challenges you had with the homework activity and what you did to overcome the problem.
In your reply post, review the materials the other students references. Were they better than the materials you selected in your post? Would you recommend these sites to other students?

) that provide access to charting utilities and APIs.
- Fine one company that provides a web based data analytic tool. Read their product reviews and demo (if available) Critique the product and include the cost, company information and citation. Is this something that a company could build internally with ASP given time? What are the features within the program that you find are most useful? What are the limitations to the technology? Is the program capable of working with your SQL Server database and ASP.NET application or would you have to switch to a different platform or data server?
- There are many companies like Facebook and Google that are aggregating data and making some available via APIs, often for a fee. Discuss issues on respect for individuals privacy, ethics and laws related to data mining.
In your reply post, compare the product the student selected to the one you selected. Which one is a better deal?
