Over the course of the semester, choose and read at least 8 current (this semester) articles in the Texas Tribune on an issue in Texas politics that interests you. Please type up a provide a link to ALL EIGHT of the articles you read to prepare for this assignment.
Do any additional research you deem necessary to write a 1 page policy paper on the issue area in Texas politics that you have been reading about in the Texas Tribune. You should be making a policy proposal in this paper- in other words, what is your policy recommendation for addressing this issue?
Your policy paper MUST include separate sections for:
• background of the problem
• a description of the key players in this issue area
• an analysis of the trade-offs inherent in the issue
• specific policy recommendations for solving the problem
• justification for choosing your policy recommendation.
