Students should briefly explain 2-3 methods currently being used to encourage economic growth in Hong Kong and Singapore. Possible methods used to encourage economic growth include the following:
• capital deepening
• human capital
• economic stimulus: nationally and/or globally
• tax cuts
• currency/exchange rates
• technology
Each method should be linked to at least one of the factors of production.
Format for IP assignment in Unit 5
