Assignment task: Economics in the News
1. Find a recent (written since September 2022) article in an online newspaper, magazine, or journal that discusses the current economic situation
2. Email your instructor the article link for approval. Articles will be approved on a first come, first served basis since each student must use a unique article
3. Provide a short summary and analysis of your article, 300-500 words including:
- Summarize the most important information, ideas, facts, etc. presented in this article)
- Why the article is interesting - why did you pick it? Does it relate to your personal life, your family, your job, career aspirations etc.?
- How the article relates to the material in this course. Use your Course Outline to see what topics are covered in this course. Then look in the table of contents of your textbook
- Cite any references (including the article you are summarizing) both in text and in a reference list at the end to the article using APA 7 formatting.
