Problem
Consider the structure Seamus Heaney uses for his poem "Mid-Term Break," a sad poem about the death of the Irish poet's younger brother. In your own words, retell the "story" of this elegiac narrative poem from stanza to stanza (in other words, tell what is happening in each stanza). Look at the alliteration present in the final line (the "f" sound repeated), and consider how it contributes to the overall tone of the poem.
