Determine at least three forms of database connectivity methods that can be used as an interface between applications. For each method you have chosen, create an example that demonstrates how each could facilitate data exchange functionality in a cloud service environment.
• Suggest at least two software solutions that offer the connectivity methods you have determined in Part 1 of this discussion to interface with other systems.

Determine at least three forms of database connectivity methods that can be used as an interface between applications. For each method you have chosen, create an example that demonstrates how each could facilitate data exchange functionality in a cloud service environment.
Three forms of database connectivity methods that can be used as an interface between applications are ODBC (open database connectivity), JDBC (Java database connectivity) and SQLJ (structured query language). ODBC for example helps to access files in number of different databases including Access, dBase, DB2, Excel as well as text. It also allows programs to use SQL requests that will access databases without having to know the proprietary interfaces to the databases. JDBL helps to connect programs that are written in java to the data in relational databases. It also provides a standard API for database developers so it is possible for them to write database applications with Java API. SQLJ has good examples for database connectivity. For example, it specifies for embedding SQL statements in JAVA methods. IBM, Oracle and several other companies are proposed SQLJ as a standard and as a simpler and easier for alternative to JDBC. All three-database connectivity methods facilitate data exchange functioning in cloud service environment to get the information users might need for data storage. Using cloud service environment connects all users for any services as well.

Two software solutions that offer the connectivity methods are infrastructure software solutions and application and database solutions. Both these solutions will be helpful for ODBC in terms of any connection errors and JDBC for data storage.
