Problem:
Michael is a big burly lebanese man who is 85 years old. he has just become a resident of an community residential unit as his wife of 64 years, who has fulltime carer, has recently died and his family is unable to care for him. he has limited english and is very intimading in his behaviour. he is refusing to be attended to by male carers and insists on female carers looking after him. the female carers are finding him difficult to care for and have expressed concerns with his attitude and behaviour. fellow clients are avoiding him and the situation is becoming very uncomfortable for all concerned.
