Backing up and Restoring an IOS file
You receive call from another networking technician stating that he has accidently deleted the IOS files from a 2600 router. He has the IOS files and the startup config backup to a TFTP server on the network. The tech cannot get the router into the right mode to replace the IOS file.
Research the Internet on how to replace the IOS file on a 2600 series router and then take the tech through the procedure over the phone on how to change modes, connect to the TFTP server and restore his startup config file.
