The database covers the various stages or dates of cancer diagnosis, the primary cancer disease sites, the effective therapy, demographics and mortality rates.
Explain how the database relates to your topic of interest/question: The SEER NCI database is relevant to my topic of interest. This database provides relevant information on some of the health related challenges facing the American population and the significant role of the public healthcare professionals in mitigating the threat of cancer.

The NCDB provides accurate and reliable data on patients or hospital characteristics for individuals with malignant neoplastic diseases, and addresses the stages of the tumor, and, the histology and treatment options available for treatment.
Explain how the database relates to your topic of interest/question: The NCDB is relevant to my topic of interest on trends in cancer care because it provides relevant data for patients with malignant neoplastic diseases, the treatment and outcomes, which is relevant for analyzing and tracking new cancer diagnosis and historical records on the incidence and survival rate of cancer cases.

The database provides data cutting across 5 regions, 5 healthcare systems and 15 Veteran Affairs hospitals. The database provides relevant insights on the ICD oncology codes, addresses secondary diagnosis issues, and research-based evidence on stage of cancer, mortality and co-morbidities.
Explain how the database relates to your topic of interest/question: The CanCORS database is relevant to my topic of interest because it provides relevant data and insights on quality of care and healthcare delivery for patients with the cancer burden. The database provides relevant data on clinical outcomes, including, reduced psychosocial stress, survival and improvement in long-term health. This database provides a wide range of articles published in a range of scholarly journal articles addressing a wide variety of topics on cancer care and quality of healthcare.

Describe (in your own words) the research database or collection of research including the purpose and the subject matter it covers: The NTDB database provides relevant and reliable trauma registry data for the improvement of trauma care in the U.S. The trauma registry data is collected and disseminated via hospital benchmark reports, research data sets and data quality reports.
Explain how the database relates to your topic of interest/question: The NTDB database is relevant to my topic of interest because it provides relevant data on patient demographics, hospital demographics and patient injuries that is are relevant for improving trauma care for patients with bariatric conditions, cancer, and breast diseases. This database provides access to a wide array of data and comprehensive reports for performing research on cancer trauma care and can benefit hospitals on the improvement of patient treatment outcomes.

The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program provides relevant and accurate data on patient demographics, preoperative risk factors, procedures, outcomes and 30-day mortality or morbidity.
Explain how the database relates to your topic of interest/question: The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program is relevant on the topic of interest because it addresses issues core to the delivery of quality and safe surgical operations. This database provides relevant information on how hospitals, especially those dealing with cancerous patients that require surgical operations , can reduce the high costs, improve surgical quality, reduce surgical complications and save more patients.
