Request for Proposal
A Request for Proposal (RFP) is a formal document developed for potential vendors by a person or company. Its purpose is to let potential vendors know what kind of service or product the person or company is looking for, as well as any constraints (i.e., time, budgetary, etc.) the person or company might be working under to obtain that particular service or product.
For this project, you will develop a RFP, based on the JIT technology solutions you have been examining throughout the class. In the "real world", you would be able to submit your RFP to several vendors and wait for one to respond with a proposal for you.
