Discuss the following:
Create a chart or diagram representing the change model that you are implementing -make sure to write a comparative demonstrating showing the old model against your new change plan.
Eg: If you have chosen to use Fiedler's Contingency Model as the change model to utilize with your project, your chart will reflect how your will create organization change based upon the model's situational leadership style and situational favorableness.
Once you have created your change model chart, write a short description of its elements.
Achieving Results
John Kotter’s Model of change is the most practical approach that can be used to achieve the best results. This is so because the model offers a platform whereby the challenges that exist can be analyzed to achieve a particular target. Kotter's Change Model is used to plan on actions that can lead to greater performance as asserted by Hodges & Gill, (2015)
During the process of initiating change, the Kotter's Model would be instrumental in helping people to work together for a common goal. Therefore, I would implement through forging close relationships between the individuals involved in the change process. Such would help to have an enabling environment for honest dialogue to keep them on the track. Therefore, this would enable us to have a broad range of ideas on how to go about initiating change.
