Religions of the minoans, mycenaeans, and ancient greeks

Assignment task:

Ancient Greek Religion ~ The religions of the Minoans, Mycenaeans, and ancient Greeks had few scriptures (unlike many of the other religions we've examined so far). The gods, for these groups, were to be appeased, beseeched, and persuaded. Moreover, religious beliefs extend to more than just the divine; they also encompass rituals, such as the funerary rites depicted on the sarcophagus or the two statues, which served as grave markers. Considering those artifacts along with the two text excerpts from the testimonials at Epidauros and Hippocrates' discourse on epilepsy's treatment and causes, what do these objects and texts indicate to us or what arguments can we make from them about the way that Proto-Greek and Greek societies thought about the metaphysical world, be it the gods, the afterlife, and the relationship of humans to the divine? How does it compare to other religions you've seen thus far?
