• Discuss the relationship between film score and narrative (story).
• How do some of the functions of film scoring, which we learned early in the course, serve to support narrative?
• Choose 3 film examples (either from class demo or your own choice) to support your argument.
• Your three film choices should be connected in some way, so that your paper is a cohesive analysis of the music in all 3 films.
• For example:
• all horror genre (different composers)
• all by the same composer
• a film trilogy (Lord Of The Rings, Back To The Future)
• This is a RESEARCH TERM PAPER. Write your own ideas, but find articles, books, etc. which support your argument, and cite your sources. You must use citations to document your research sources. Use MLA style citations.
