During this course, in addition to working on a scenario-based project, you are asked to create a presentation covering the various topics of database design that we will cover. You will submit two deliverables related to this presentation:
1. Presentation Outline
The purpose of this presentation is to reinforce the concepts presented in this course. Database design is a complicated topic, and you will not learn all of the concepts presented just by reading about them. By creating a presentation that teaches the concepts to someone else, you will be able to understand and retain more of the material we cover.
The audience for your presentation is someone who has never been introduced to the topic of database design before. Since your audience members are beginners in this area, it is important for you to explain the concepts in your own words and provide analogies and examples for better understanding. You should assume that the students viewing your presentation have access to the textbook, but still do not understand the concepts. Therefore, your explanations and examples should be different than those presented in the textbook.
