Sometimes we are asked to comprehend history via the eyes of books. And sometimes we are asked to comprehend literature via the lens of history. Many critics, though, propose which the two are so intertwined as to be almost inseparable.
Choose readings and recognize at least three ways in which you understand history and literature overlapping and shaping each other.
Make specific observations about, and references to, at least one of the literary readings. All academic papers must comprise an introduction with a thesis statement, supporting the paragraphs and a conclusion.
