Study Raphael's famous and beloved School of Athens. well--especially the dialogue taking place at the focal point. (As you hover over the image, you will see various points of information with which you can interact). I could teach our entire course of Ethics from this single painting. Why is that? How does this painting portray the tensions of the Fact/Value struggle? How does everything we've pondered come back to the central dialogue taking place between Plato and Aristotle, so masterfully captured by Raphael?
