Understanding that medical office visits are regulated by the provincial government. The office visit may be termed differently in each province; however, the type of office visit matches the description. The number associated with the office visit is the billing or tariff code. Sometimes there will not be a visible dollar amount with the office (tariff) code. What this means is that the tariff or fee for the office visit is automatically entered into the invoice.
