It's important to address these barriers in some type of way to give everyone a fair chance. For instance, increasing the number of polling places, extending voting hours, or providing better transportation options can help mitigate these issues. Also, implementing measures like mail-in ballots or early voting can offer more flexibility and accommodate those who might struggle with traditional voting methods. Social equity requires a proactive approach to ensure that all individuals can fully participate in the processes. Recognizing and addressing the systemic barriers that prevent participation is essential for fostering a truly fair and inclusive voting system. I personally plan to vote this year which sad to say I've never voted before because I felt as though my vote didn't matter anyways. there are so many Americans that feel this was as well. I believe that educating the public more will help as well.
