Congratulations to everyone for making it to the final week! My career goal is to be a key account manager for the company I currently work for. I have been with them for over two years now and I enjoy the team and company culture. Understanding how culture affects global markets and business practices and ethics will be extremely helpful. This includes using Hofstede Insights country comparison tool. I found it to be much more helpful than I initially thought it would be. Another topic I believe will be useful is knowing how government(s) intervene in trade. I never realized how many rules and regulations there were to international trade.
A credential that I believe would be worth perusing is the Certified Global Business Professional. This is because of its industry recognition, comprehensive skillset, potential for career advancement, networking opportunities, and the way it applies to different industries. The credential demonstrates expertise in global business practices and prepares individuals for the challenges of international trade, cultural differences, and global regulations.
