- Steve claims that he has poor 'muscle memory' and cannot play tennis or dance as well as he used to. Steve's MRI test reveals irregularities in his Arbor Vitae. During your examination, you cannot help but smell the alcohol on his breath.
- Lisa has recently gone blind. In addition to her lack of vision, poor Lisa claims that she cannot taste the food and feels completely numb all over. You try to comfort Lisa by telling her everything is going to be okay, but quickly realize that she cannot hear you. Lisa's mother informs you that Lisa's olfactory sensation is normal.
- Kenny claims that his blood sugar skyrockets when he eats food and never returns to normal. Upon taking his blood pressure, you notice that Kenny's blood is pumping at a dangerously low rate. Kenny reports that he is utterly unable to become sexually aroused, and, perhaps worse of all, describes being constantly hungry and thirsty.
- Paul is the worst patient you've seen all day. He appears to be dead. He has been in a vegetative state for almost 10 years, but his heartbeat and respiration are normal.
